Also, I hate the stripes on the pant legs and sneaker shoe soles on the costume.
That said, I do love that they brought Web-Shooters back and I like the black webs on the costume. The lenses look kinda old school too, which is nice.
I have a soft spot for Gwen Stacey and I love Emma Stone. I like Andrew Garfield for the role of Parker physically, I think the gangly lanky frame works better for the role than Maguire's. We'll see how his acting chops are soon enough, I guess.
I like Marc Webb also. He directed a lot of emo band videos in the early 2000's as well as 500 Days of Summer, so I think in terms of high school bs and teenage angst, he's a good pick.
